Use public tags to help you consider your monitored Scorecards through different external lenses, such as the types of businesses they are associated with or how frequently they have been breached. You can use these perspectives to enrich how you isolate and monitor Scorecards in your Portfolios or Watch List.
What are public tags?
Public tags identify Scorecards as belonging to commercial, financial, industrial, or other categories based on published information about their related organizations. SecurityScorecard uses public data sources, such as the Fortune 100 index, to generate these tags.
Examples of public tags available in our platform include:
- Fortune 500 company
- Fortune 100 index
Tip: We continuously add new public tags. To ask about additional ones, submit a request to our Support team.
View public tags
As with custom tags, you can see any public tags for a Scorecard on its header...
...and your Portfolios.
Find Scorecards with public tags
Also as with custom tags, you can use a Public Tags search filter in your Portfolios to see only Scorecards in certain categories.
Note: The Public Tags search filter is different from the one for custom tags.
Request updates and corrections for public tags
As we continue to generate public tags your feedback is valuable for helping ensure that the tags are current and accurate.
Submit a Support request to tell us if:
- You see a public tag that you believe is incorrect.
- You want a public tag to be updated
- You want a public tag to be removed from your organization's Scorecard.
3) for c) point above → we need to inform that customers can hide column via ‘Columns’ tab on the portfolio table. (in case public tags shown again the vendor are too much clutter)
