We have sunsetted Atlas. Use the Questionnaires tool to manage all your questionnaire-related operations.
Go to Questionnaires
In the platform, select Questionnaires from the Communication drop-down menu.
Send a questionnaire link
When you complete these steps, the vendor gets an email with a link in one of the following scenarios:
- If the vendor's organization has claimed its Scorecard and the questionnaire recipient does not have a SecurityScorecard account, the administrator automatically receives a request for guest access that enables the recipient to view and complete the questionnaire only.
- If the vendor's organization has claimed its Scorecard and the questionnaire recipient does have a SecurityScorecard account, the recipient will receive an emailed link to complete the questionnaire.
- If the vendor's organization has not claimed its Scorecard, the recipient will receive an emailed link to create a free SecurityScorecard account and complete the questionnaire.
- In Questionnaires, click Send New Questionnaire.
- You can choose whether to use a standard industry questionnaire template provided by SecurityScorecard or a custom questionnaire created by your organization. Search or filter to find your questionnaire. You can send multiple questionnaire templates to the recipient.
Tip: Learn more about standard and custom templates. Currently, you can only create the latter in Atlas.
- You can choose whether to send the questionnaire to individual email addresses, an organization's domain, or a team. In this case, any user with an email address that includes the chosen domain name will be able to access the questionnaire.
- Select the date you want to send the questionnaire. You also can select a due date for the vendor to complete it.
Note: If you select a send date after the current date, or if you make the questionnaire recurring, SecurityScorecard will email the questionnaire directly to the vendor.
If you select the current date and do not make the questionnaire recurring, SecurityScorecard will generate a link that you send to the vendor from your own email address.

If you want to schedule a recurring questionnaire, click Schedule recurring and select a cycle to resend.
- If you want to add access for specific users, you can add them before sending.

If you would like to add a personal message, you can just type it in the text box.
- Smart Answer AI can be enabled or disabled per questionnaire. If you want the vendor to be able to use Smart Answer to complete the questionnaire, enable it before sending it.
- Once you send the questionnaire, you can copy the link to the questionnaire.
Track the status of the questionnaires you sent
Click Outgoing in the left-side navigation to view and track the questionnaires you sent.
