We have sunsetted Atlas. Use the Questionnaires tool to manage all your questionnaire-related operations.
Go to Questionnaires
In the platform, select Questionnaires from the Core Tools drop-down menu.
Send a questionnaire link
When you complete these steps, the vendor gets an email with a link in one of the following scenarios:
- If the vendor's organization has claimed their Scorecard, and if the questionnaire recipient does not have a SecurityScorecard account, their administrator automatically receives a request for guest access that enables the recipient to only view and complete the questionnaire.
- If the vendor's organization has claimed their Scorecard, and if the questionnaire recipient does have a SecurityScorecard account, the recipient gets an emailed link to complete the questionnaire.
- If the vendor's organization has not claimed their Scorecard, the recipient gets an emailed link to create a free SecurityScorecard account and then complete the questionnaire.

- In Questionnaires, click Send questionnaire.
Tip: If you are sending a questionnaire to a specific vendor for the first time, send them an email in advance to assure them that the upcoming questionnaire request is legitimate. This can speed the process of having them complete the questionnaire.
1. Click the First time sending a questionnaire? link.
2. Copy the displayed message to a clipboard.
3. Edit or personalize the message.
4. Email it to the vendor. - Choose whether to use a standard industry questionnaire template that SecurityScorecard provides, or a custom questionnaire created by your organization.
Tip: Learn more about standard and custom templates. Currently, you can only create the latter in Atlas.
- Choose whether to send the questionnaire to individual email addresses or to an organization's domain, where any user with an email address that includes chosen domain name will be able to access the questionnaire.

- If you select the email option, enter and select email addresses.
- If you select the domain option, enter a domain name.
- If you select the email option, enter and select email addresses.
- Select the date you want to send the questionnaire. You also can select a due date for the vendor to complete it.
Note: If you select a send date after the current date, or if you make the questionnaire recurring, SecurityScorecard will email the questionnaire directly to the vendor.
If you select the current date and do not make the questionnaire recurring, SecurityScorecard will generate a link that you send to the vendor from your own email address. - If you want to resend the questionnaire on a recurring basis, click Schedule recurring and select a cycle for resending.
- If you want to send the vendor a reminder to complete the questionnaire, click Set reminder and select a time window preceding your selected due date.
- If you want to add a personal message, type it in the text box.
- If you chose a future date to send the questionnaire or the option to send recurring questionnaires, click Send. SecurityScorecard directly emails the questionnaire link to the vendor.
If you chose the current date to send the questionnaire and did not make it recurring, click the button to generate a Guest link for specific email recipients or a Company link for the entire organization, depending on your selected preference...
...then, copy the link from the dialog box and email it to the vendor.
Track the status of questionnaires you sent
Click the Sent tab in Questionnaires to see the questionnaires that you sent to vendors.
To see more columns that provide details about the sent questionnaire, use the scroll bar above the table.
