With the SecurityScorecard integration for Power BI, users are able to pull SecurityScorecard information into Power BI and use it to run queries, create tables, graphs, and dashboards.
Set up the integration
After the integration is set up, SecurityScorecard tables will become available in your Power BI instance.
Part 1 - SecurityScorecard Marketplace
- In the SecurityScorecard Marketplace, find the Power BI tile and open it.
- Choose “Install.”
- Note the connection and credential information received.
Part 2 - Power BI
- In Power BI, select “Get data” from the top menu and select “More,” if necessary.
- From the list of data sources, choose PostgreSQL database.
- Enter the connection information received from the SecurityScorecard Marketplace and select “Direct Query” for the data connectivity mode.
- Next, enter the credential information received from the SecurityScorecard Marketplace.
- Next, a set of tables will appear. Choose the tables you want available to your Power BI project and choose “Load.”
