Question
When setting a factor score as Grade < 'A', all Open issue findings are listed. However, the expected behavior is to list only the findings that impact the target score. Why this discrepancy occur?
Answer
The 'Action Plan' based on a factor score will display all the 'Open ' issue findings instead of the only those affecting the target score. The reason behind it is, the organization can prioritize the remediation based on their need. This allows them to address critical issue first to improve the factor score effectively.
Workflow
-
Once the factor score reaches the target, the Action Plan will be marked as 'Completed', even if some non-critical findings remain open.
-
Example: If there are 10 findings, but resolving 2 critical ones improves the score to the target, the plan is still considered complete.
