Purpose and Summary
When SecurityScorecard detects a security breach, we will attempt to publish and apply scoring updates against affected scorecards as a priority.
Overall Solution
While we attempt to update scoring as fast as possible, there may be some delay, which can be attributed to:

While SecurityScorecard utilizes it's own engine to collect Breach Data, we work to do some validation on our end prior to adding the breach notification to any scorecard.

We process our data data through the same scoring mechanisms as all of the other signals/data we collect - meaning that it can take a few additional days (from the day we get the notification, and then validate it) for those breach reports to arrive on a scorecard.
