Overview
For a guided walkthrough, view the Quick Guide to Alerts & Notifications.
Alerts & notifications enable users to automate monitoring for score changes based on numerical thresholds and letter grade drops and raises and receive notifications in-app and via email.
Release note: All portfolio level alerts configured prior the rollout of the new alerting capabilities (on Dec.18 2018) in the platform will roll over to the new system.

Receiving Notifications
There are three locations where you can view incoming notifications based on your alert settings:
1. The Notifications Dropdown (via the bell icon in the top nav)
New alerting, rules, and designated contact activity is indicated by a red dot over the notifications icon at the top nav bar. Clickin on the notifications icon expands a drop-down with a quick overview of standard notifications, prioritized rule notifications, and designated contact notifications.
Notifications are segmented into 3 different tab categories:
- Standard (General alerts and notifications)
- Prioritized (Prioritized notifications are set in Rule Builder)
- Customer Contacts (This will only be available for designated contacts)
The count adjacent to the tab title, represents the number of unread notifications for that tab category.
To view more details and historical log, click at the “View all notifications” shortcut (explained at the next step).
2. The Notifications Feed
Details can be accessed in your Notifications feed, accessible via the Notifications dropdown
3. The Daily Digest Email
Alerts and rules notifications are delivered once per day in the form of Daily Digest email and in-app notifications within the platform. Daily Digest emails represent a summary of all alerts and rules generated from the day before.
You can always opt in or out of receiving the Daily Digest emails.
