Why is the 'Status' in the Compliance tab different from what is shown in the 'Status' column of its CSV export?
Answer
The difference arrises because the 'Status' column in the CSV export reflects the status of entire control group, not individual signals.
- In the UI, each control signal within a group may show its own specific status (eg. Conflict, Gathered) as shown in screenshot 1
- However, in the CSV export, the 'Status' column summarizes the status of whole group as shown in screenshot 2.
Note: If even one signal within a control group is marked as 'In Conflict', the entire group will be labeled as 'Conflict' in the exported CSV file.
We understand this discrepancy may cause confusion. A feature request is already in place to to improve the granularity of status column in CSV export.
Recommendation
When reviewing compliance evidence, refer to the Compliance Module UI for the most granular and accurate view of each individual control signal status.
