Question
Why does a rule trigger send an email alert to a teammate, but the teammate cannot see the corresponding notification in the platform?
Answer
Rule notifications within the platform are only visible to the Rule Owner.
Teammates who are included as recipients will still receive the alert via email.
However, the Notifications → Alerts section will not display the corresponding alert for them.
This is expected system behavior.
Scenario
User A (Rule Owner): Creates a rule with the action set as Select Action → To → User B and User C.
User B and User C: Receive the email notification (from
digest@securityscorecard.io) but will not see the alert in their Inbox → Alerts section.
Note: All users (User A, User B, and User C) belong to the same organization's account
