The Security rating over time widget is available on the ROI and Board & Executive dashboards (MAX > Customer portal).
A stacked bar chart showing, for each of the last 12 months, how many managed vendors held each SecurityScorecard letter grade (A through F). Each bar represents one month, and the colored segments show the vendor count at each grade for that month.
This widget offers an alternative way to evaluate the program’s performance over time, based on vendor coverage and the distribution of security posture rather than incident likelihood. Security grades can change quickly in response to remediation findings, reflecting both current and past activity, so they surface the impact of a vendor’s remediation efforts faster than Incident Likelihood Assessments, which are a lagging indicator by design. A rising share of A/B-grade vendors indicates improving vendor security posture under MAX management.
You can drill into the data by clicking a bar segment to see the vendor table filtered to the vendors it represents. When drilling into historic data, please note that a vendor’s grade may have changed since then, and the current grade will be displayed. You can view a vendor’s full grade history by going to their scorecard.
This visualization is responsive to the global dashboard filters. If you don't see all the vendors you expect, confirm the filter matches your preferences.
