You can schedule reports to be delivered by email on a recurring basis. This makes it easy to keep members of your organization informed, even if they do not have access to the SecurityScorecard platform.
The following report types can be scheduled:
- Summary
- Detailed
- Issues
- Custom reports
Note: You can only schedule custom reports you've created.
Schedule a report
Use the rule builder to set up when reports are sent, who receives them, and how often they repeat. To get started, go to Automations > Reporting Center, open Generated Reports, and select Schedule Report.
Required fields
- Enter the following required information in the rule builder:
- Rule name: Your schedule's name.
- Scorecards: Select My Scorecard to report on your company or Single Scorecard to report on another company (enter the company name).
- Time schedule: How often the report is sent (daily, weekly, etc.).
- Start on: When the schedule begins.
- From the Action: Share Report menu, select the report you want to send.
- Next, add the recipient(s) you want to share the report with and select the branding used in the report.
- Select Save.
Optional settings
Additionally, you can configure the following:
- Rule Manager: Who can pause or modify the schedule.
- End date: Select this option to set when the schedule should stop.
- Custom message: The email subject and message recipients will see. If you do not customize the email, the subject line is the report name.
- You can also choose to copy the email to yourself.
Once scheduled, you'll receive alerts for this report in your Notifications.
View, download, or edit a scheduled report
To manage previously scheduled reports, go to the Report Scheduling page in the Reporting Center.
From this page, you can:
- View report details.
- Pause delivery using the Active toggle.
- Open the menu (...) to download, edit, view the run history in Rule Triggered Log, or delete the report.
