Titan Secure Continuous Monitoring is in beta. Features and behavior may change, and some functionality is still in development. To share feedback or report an issue, complete the support form.
File Vault provides secure, policy-driven storage for sensitive documents used across SCDR workflows such as vendor management and remediation, including compliance reports, security artifacts, and contractual materials. Files stored in File Vault are shared across your organization, allowing team members to access, manage, and reuse documents as needed.
File Vault has a total storage limit of 20 GB per organization.
Upload documents
Upload documents to File Vault to store files for later reference or reuse in workflows. During the upload, you choose where to store the files and add basic details.
To upload documents:
- Go to Drive/Repository > Active Files and select Upload Documents. To store files in a folder, open the folder before uploading.
- Select one or more files from your device and then select Upload Documents. You can upload the following file types, up to 10 MB per file:
- .png
- .jpg
- .csv
- Optionally, add a description to clarify the file's purpose.
- Upload the documents.
Once uploaded, each file is scanned for security issues and, if it passes validation, becomes available in the Active section.
Organize files with folders
Folders help you organize documents in File Vault, making related files easy to find. Use folders to structure content and control where files are stored.
To create a folder, select Create Folder and enter a name. Open the folder to upload documents directly to it.
Manage existing files
From the Active section, you can download files and update their details.
Manage file versions
File Vault maintains version history for uploaded files. When you upload a new version of an existing document, the previous version is retained.
From a file’s options, you can:
Upload a new version
Revert to an earlier version if needed
Reverting restores the selected version as the current version.
Delete and restore files
Organization admins and file owners can delete files from File Vault when they’re no longer needed. Deleted files remain recoverable for a limited time.
You can delete an individual file from the Actions menu, or delete all your files at once by going to Actions and selecting Delete All. Deleted files can be restored within 24 hours of deletion.
Note: Deleting a folder also deletes all its files.
All deleted files appear in the Deleted section of the File Vault. From there, you can restore a file by selecting Restore Document.
File security and malware scanning
File Vault protects your data by scanning all uploaded files for malware before they are stored. This ensures unsafe or suspicious files are blocked from entering the system.
If a file passes the security check, it becomes available in File Vault. If a file can’t be scanned safely or fails to scan, the upload is blocked, and you’ll see a warning. These checks run automatically and record scan activity for auditing.
