Nested Knowledge Segments let you define multi-level segment hierarchies, so you can drill down from broad categories to very specific content. For example:

• Industry → Product Line → Deal Size

• Department → Compliance Tier

There’s no limit to the number of segment levels you can create, and you can choose whether each level is required or optional based on your workflow needs.

🛠 How to Use Nested Knowledge Segments

1. Create a New Segment

    

   • Add a primary segment (e.g., Industry) in your knowledge base settings.

    

2. Add Nested Segment Values

    

   • Within any segment, define additional layers (e.g., Industry → Product Line).

   • Use typeahead to quickly select or create values during tagging.

    

3. Apply Segments During Workflows

    

   • Tag individual questions or answers with nested segments.

   • Only relevant nested values will display when applicable.

   • Filter knowledge base searches and RFP answers by segment path.
