This guide provides an overview of where you can view your published Incident Likelihood assessment results and associated Remediation Plan within the SecurityScorecard platform.
Finding your assessment results
Your assessment results are visible in two places:
- A summary view on your My Scorecard page
- A detailed view in the MAX Vendor Portal
The My Scorecard page
Navigate to My Organization > My Scorecard to see the Incident Likelihood assessment widget, a specialized view of your MAX assessment results.
The Incident Likelihood assessment is a separate cyber risk evaluation generated by MAX. It is independent from your standard SecurityScorecard Grade and Breach Service Index (BSI). These scores are calculated differently and may not align.
In addition to the Incident Likelihood assessment, this page displays your broader SecurityScorecard metrics, including:
- Security grade: Your overall letter grade (A-F) based on 10 security factors.
- Breach risk: Insights into how your security posture impacts the statistical likelihood of a data breach.
- Score factors: A breakdown of specific categories, such as DNS Health and Patching Cadence, that contribute to your overall score.
The MAX Vendor Portal
The MAX Vendor Portal is your central hub for reviewing assessment results and addressing remediation requirements tied to your partnership. You can access it by clicking through the Incident Likelihood assessment widget or by going to MAX > Vendor Portal from the main menu.
Key sections in the MAX Vendor Portal
The MAX Vendor Portal is designed to provide a clear view of security expectations and progress. Here, you can view the following sections:
-
Incident Likelihood assessment table: A summary view of your assessment results, including the probability of defined threat scenarios.
From this table, you can access downloadable reports that provide detailed findings and supporting data for your assessment.
-
Remediation Plan: A prioritized list of security findings. This is your central tool for identifying which issues need to be addressed to improve your score.
