A 4th party is an organization that provides services or infrastructure to one of your monitored vendors. Although you may not have a direct relationship with these entities, they are part of your extended supply chain and can influence your overall risk exposure.
4th-party detection identifies these downstream relationships and maps how they connect to your monitored vendors. This enables you to see which external providers your vendors rely on, how those relationships are detected, and where dependencies may overlap across your portfolio.
Understanding 4th-party relationships helps you assess indirect exposure, identify shared dependencies, and evaluate potential concentration risk within your extended supply chain.
The Supply Chain Connections table provides a consolidated view of third-party services and dependencies identified within your monitored vendors. It shows which 4th parties have been detected, how they are connected to your vendor portfolio, and when those relationships were observed.
Grouped by 4th party view
This view displays each detected 4th party once and summarizes key information, including its monitoring status, the number of monitored vendors that rely on it, and the associated concentration risk. Use this view to assess concentration and shared dependencies across your portfolio.
Group details panel
When you select a row in the Grouped by 4th party view, a details panel opens with additional information about that specific 4th party and its relationships to your monitored vendors.
The panel displays the 4th party’s monitoring status and its concentration risk. The concentration value (for example, 1%) indicates how many of your monitored vendors rely on that 4th party relative to your total number of monitored vendors.
Below the concentration summary, the panel lists each connected monitored vendor and the most recent detection timestamp for that relationship. This allows you to identify which vendors depend on the 4th party and when the dependency was last observed.
Select View all connections to review the underlying detection details associated with this 4th party.
If a detected 4th party is already in your vendor directory, select View profile to view its profile. Otherwise, select Add to Directory to add it to your vendor directory as an unmonitored vendor.
All connections view
This view displays each individual relationship between a monitored vendor and a detected 4th party. It includes the monitored vendor, monitoring status, connection methods, and the first and last detected timestamps. Use this view to review specific vendor-to-4th-party connections or understand how and when a relationship was identified.
Detection details panel
When you select a row in the All connections view, a detection details panel opens for that specific vendor-to-4th-party relationship.
The panel identifies the detected 4th party and shows where the relationship was observed, including the monitored vendor in which it was detected.
The Detection evidence section provides the signals used to identify the relationship (HTTP request, detected library, DNS, breach, products detected, TLS, X.509 certificate). Each evidence type includes the relevant value and the most recent observation timestamp.
Use this panel to understand how the relationship was detected and to review the underlying technical evidence supporting the detection.
Search and filter 4th parties
Use the search box to find a specific 4th party by name. Use the filters bar to narrow results by Portfolio, Fourth Party, Monitoring Status, Connection Methods, or First Seen/Last Seen date range; the All connections view also lets you filter by Monitored Vendor.
You can save your filter selections for quick access in the Presets section.
