Every report in the Reporting Center has a toolbar at the top of the page with options to customize, export, and copy the report.
Settings
Select Settings to open the Customize report panel, which lets you control the data, layout, and appearance of any report.
The panel has three tabs:
- Report settings — set global filters that apply to all widgets in the report
- Widget settings — override filters for a specific widget
- Sections and order — reorder the sections in your report
Report settings
Filters you set here apply globally. Every widget in the report uses them unless overridden in Widget settings.
All filters have an and relationship, which means results must match every filter you set. If no data matches all criteria, the widget shows no data.
- Data varies at different points in time. If you are not seeing expected results, try changing your start and end dates to capture a different time window. Increasing the time range can increase the likelihood of data appearing.
- New portfolios need 24 hours to show data. If a recently created portfolio shows no results, wait 24 hours for the data to populate, then refresh the report.
The following options are available:
- Portfolios
Select one or more portfolios to include in the report. Only companies within the selected portfolios appear in the results.
- Scorecards
Narrow the report to specific scorecards within your selected portfolios. If left empty, the report includes all scorecards in the selected portfolios.
- Period
Select a predefined time range for the report data. The available options are:- Last 7 days
- Last 30 days
- Last quarter
- Last 12 months
- Custom — set a specific start and end date using the date pickers below
- Start date and end date
These fields appear when Period is set to Custom. Use the date pickers to define the exact date range you want to report on.
Report-specific options
Some reports include additional filter options below the standard fields. These options are specific to that report type and only appear when relevant.
How filters work
Widget settings
Widget settings contain the same filter fields as Report settings, but apply only to the individual widget you are editing. Modifying widget settings overrides the global Report settings for that widget.
Not all widgets support individual settings. The Widget settings tab only shows options for widgets that have their own configurable filters.
For the following widgets, an additional Scorecard to compare filter appears: Scorecard Trends, Performance by Factor, Scorecard Snapshot, Scorecard Benchmark, and Score History. This option lets you enter a company name or domain to pull in data for a specific scorecard.
Sections and order
The Sections and order tab shows all sections currently in your report. Drag and drop sections to rearrange them in any order. You can also add a new section by selecting + Add Section.
Export
You can export report data at the report level or at the individual widget level.
- Export the full report
Select Export in the toolbar to generate a PDF of the entire report. Once generated, the PDF is available in the Generated Reports section of the Reporting Center, where you can view or download it.
- Export a widget
Some widgets support individual CSV exports. To export a widget, select the ... menu in the top-right corner of the widget and select Export to CSV. The CSV file is also available in the Generated Reports section of the Reporting Center.
Make a copy
Select Make a copy to create a duplicate of the report. Use this to create variations of an existing report without rebuilding it from scratch — for example, to report on the same data for a different portfolio or time period.
