Titan AI is in beta. Features and behavior may change, and some functionality is still in development. To share feedback or report an issue, complete the support form.
Workflow templates give you a ready-made starting point for automating a common TPRM process instead of building it node by node. Each template includes a trigger and a full sequence of pre-built action blocks already connected; you pick one that's close to what you need, then adjust it to fit your organization.
Templates are available whenever you create a new workflow, and you can always skip them and start from a blank canvas instead.
Available templates
Templates are grouped into categories that follow the vendor risk lifecycle. The following templates are available, with more coming soon.
| Category | Template | What it does |
| Identification & Onboarding | Vendor Intake | Evaluates a submitted vendor intake and routes it by risk level — ending the workflow for low-tier vendors, sending a follow-up questionnaire for high-tier vendors, and sending a questionnaire plus an escalation for critical-tier vendors. |
| Due Diligence & Assessment | Quarterly Vendor Review | On a schedule, sends a review questionnaire to a vendor, waits for completion, reviews the outcome, and reports it to the coworker you designate as the contact. |
| Due Diligence & Assessment | Questionnaire Completed Review | Triggers when a vendor completes a questionnaire, reads the results, and notifies the reviewer of the due diligence outcome, escalating anything that's rejected. |
| Risk Evaluation & Mitigation | Findings Review | On a schedule, retrieves a vendor's findings for a saved filter and notifies the coworker contact whenever any findings are open. |
| Continuous Monitoring | Vendor Risk Changed | Triggers when a vendor's risk level changes and routes accordingly, reassessing critical vendors with a questionnaire and an escalation, notifying on high, and taking no further action otherwise. |
Are templates ready to go?
Not immediately. A template gives you a working structure — the trigger and every action block are already there and connected — but it's created as a draft, like any new workflow. Before you publish it, review each block and configure details specific to your organization, such as which questionnaire to send, which saved filter to check findings against, or who the notification should go to.
Some of a template's action blocks need this kind of setup before they can run, since those details are specific to your organization and can't be filled in ahead of time. On the canvas, those blocks are outlined in red with an alert icon, and hovering over the icon tells you the block has an error. Select the block to open it in the inspector and fill in whatever it's asking for, such as which record to look up or which connector action to call. The outline and icon clear once you fill in everything required.
You can't publish a workflow while any block still shows this error, so treat it as your checklist for what's left to configure after starting from a template.
What's left to fill in depends on how the template is triggered:
- Triggered by an event (Vendor Intake, Questionnaire Completed Review, Vendor Risk Changed): These already know which vendor or questionnaire to act on, since the event provides that context. Once published, they run automatically for every vendor or questionnaire the event applies to; you don't pick one. Questionnaire Completed Review is the one exception: its notification has no recipient by default, so you'll need to open that block and choose who should be notified.
- Run on a schedule (Quarterly Vendor Review, Findings Review): These run for one vendor relationship, so you'll need to open the first block and pick which vendor it applies to. Findings Review also needs a saved filter so it knows which findings to check.
Scheduled templates also come with a default cadence you'll likely want to review: Quarterly Vendor Review is set to run at 9:00 AM on the 1st of January, April, July, and October, and Findings Review is set to run weekly, every Monday at 9:00 AM. Both default to the America/New York time zone regardless of your organization's own time zone, so open the trigger block to adjust the cadence or time zone if it doesn't fit your team.
Once you've configured every block, publish the workflow from the builder to make it active.
Creating a workflow from a template
- From the Workflows list, select + New workflow. This opens the Create workflow dialog.
- Use the category rail on the left to browse, or leave All templates selected to see everything at once.
- Select a template card to create your workflow.
Your new workflow is created immediately with the template's full trigger and action blocks already in place, and opens in the builder. Titan gives it a default name based on the template and the date, and you can rename it anytime from the builder toolbar.
Don't want to use a template? Select Start from scratch at the bottom of the dialog to create an empty workflow instead.
Adding, removing, and rearranging blocks
A workflow created from a template is a normal workflow; you can customize it to fit your needs. In the builder, you can:
- Add new action blocks from the palette and connect them anywhere in the flow.
- Remove any block you don't need.
- Reconfigure a block's settings, such as its connector, conditions, or the branch it routes to.
- Rewire connections between blocks to change the order or logic.
Templates aren't linked back to anything after creation. Editing your workflow doesn't affect the template, and updates to a template (if any are made later) won't change workflows you've already created from it.
FAQ
Can I create more than one workflow from the same template?
Yes. Each time you pick a template, it creates a new, independent workflow. You can create as many workflows from one template as you like.
What happens if I close the dialog without picking anything?
Nothing is created. You can reopen the Create workflow dialog at any time from New workflow.
