The Cost savings widget is on the ROI dashboard (MAX > Customer portal > ROI tab).
Shows the value MAX has delivered over the selected period by replacing analyst hours that would otherwise be spent on vendor monitoring, reviewing findings and reports, and triage.
The widget displays:
- MAX saved: the ROI multiple as a percentage ("MAX saved 91%" means the value delivered is 91% more than the price paid).
- Hours saved: the total analyst hours MAX replaced in the period, shown as the equivalent "worth of deliverables" and the number of full-time analysts (FTE) it would take a customer to replicate that scope in-house.
- Value delivered: the dollar value of those saved hours, at the effective in-house analyst rate.
- MAX price: what the customer paid for MAX over the period, net of any per-tier discount (list price and discount % are never shown to the customer).
- Net savings: value delivered minus MAX price.
The underlying hours and dollars are built only from activity that is also visible elsewhere in the portal, so the headline number always reconciles with what a customer can trace and verify. Select How is this calculated? to open a breakdown by category (Vendors, Reports, Findings, Weekly Reports, ZDaaS), each linking to its portal page, plus a link to the ROI white paper for the full per-activity math.
