The Incident likelihood trends widget is available on the Trends dashboard (MAX > Customer portal > Trends tab).
This widget is a table comparing how the customer's vendor portfolio is distributed across incident-likelihood ratings (Critical, High, Medium, Low) across three points in time: the First, Previous, and Last assessment, with a Trend column showing the change in vendor count between the previous and latest assessment (a green/flat/red indicator with the delta). This shows whether the number of vendors rated at each likelihood level improves or worsens across subsequent assessments.
The data can be displayed in three ways, using the drop-down menu: as a percentage table, as a population table, or by distribution (a stacked column chart by percentage of vendors).
When viewing the table by Distribution, the visualization shows trends across three assessments for each vendor: the initial assessment on the left, the latest assessment on the right, and the second-latest assessment in the middle. You can drill into the data by clicking a bar to filter the vendor table to the vendors it represents.
Keep in mind:
- If the program is less than a year old, there may not be significant changes.
- Newly onboarded vendors may distort risk distributions because they appear only in the initial assessment column.
