Is IE mode in Edge flagged as an "outdated browser"?

Does using Internet Explorer (IE) mode in the Microsoft Edge browser trigger a finding for the  Outdated web browser observed issue type and impact my score?

Solution

We currently do not plan to include IE mode with Edge  with findings for that issue type. 

Keep monitoring the scoring update release notes page for any potential changes.

Note: IE 11 reaches end of life on June 15, 2022; however, Microsoft will continue to support IE mode in Edge.
