How to Activate and Claim a Scorecard in SecurityScorecard?

Answer

To Activate and Claim a Scorecard, an email using the scorecard's domain is required. See below the procedure using  myuser1@domainscorecard.com under domainscorecard.com as example.

1. Go to https://platform.securityscorecard.io/#/signup/
2. Enter First Name, Last name
3. Enter the Work Email myuser1@domainscorecard.com
4. Tick the box agreeing to the EUSA and Privacy Policy
5. Click on Create Account
6. In the next 5min or so, an email will be sent to  myuser1@domainscorecard.com to confirm the email and finish the account creation by creating a password. When setting the password, please ensure that the url on the top has the following format https://platform.securityscorecard.io/?password-reset-key=AAAAAA&etc… the url must contain the password-reset-key parameter to save the password.
7. Upon saving the password, the account will be created and logged in automatically. User myuser1@domainscorecard.com has now activated and claimed the domainscorecard.com scorecard
