Problem
Custom scorecard is showing "Calculating..." for an extended period or is suddenly showing "Calculating..." without any changes made. It fails to generate a score or populate the scorecard.
Cause
This issue occurs when a custom scorecard is created with filters that result in zero (0) assets (IPs, domains, etc.) in its Digital Footprint (DF).
Previously, a scorecard with 0 assets would eventually complete calculation and default to an artificial score of 100. However, with the transition to our RSR technology, the system requires an active asset footprint to trigger the calculation events. No footprint means no score, leaving the scorecard permanently hanging in the "Calculating" state instead of defaulting to a 100 score.
Resolution
To resolve this and get the scorecard out of the "Calculating..." status , you must ensure the scorecard has at least one valid asset assigned to it.
Review Filters: Go to the custom scorecard settings and review the filters you applied.
Broaden the Scope: Adjust or loosen the filters to ensure they capture at least one asset from the source scorecard(s).
Save: Once the filters are updated and the asset count is greater than 0, save the changes. The asset footprint will be detected and the score calculation will occur normally.
