Problem
While installing the Jira app from the SecurityScorecard Marketplace, you see the following message when you enter the Jira site host and use the API Token Auth plugin:
"Sorry, authentication failed. One or more of the fields is incorrect. Please retry."
Note: SAML pre-authentication does not allow for a token based API connection.
Solution
Use Using Personal Access Tokens as indicated in our Jira App article.
To let our Product Management team know that you would to use the API Token Auth plugin in the future, please submit a support ticket.
