Problem
Two accounts have the same exact rules setup, however they receive different scorecard notifications in the daily digest email at different timestamps.
Answer
The rule action “alert myself” or “alert teammate” means the rule is responsible for sending the “in platform” notifications only. The in platform alerts can be viewed by selecting the notifications bell icon in the top right corner of the platform page next to the user profile icon.
The daily digest email is a limited compilation of notifications.
Due to the large amount of emails sent there are different conditions that will cause the digest email timestamps to be different for users, including users that belong to the same rule notification.
Because of the different timing of the daily digest emails, users may not see the same scorecard notification order and email subject heading.
- Digests are a compilation of the last 24 hours of notifications for each user.
- One digest could have many rule notifications.
- Delivery timestamps will vary from user to user.
- Digests are not meant to be urgent notifications. For urgent notifications please see the in-platform “alert” notifications bell. The Slack or Teams integrations can also be used.
