Question:
I had submitted a request to remove an IP Address/Domain from the Digital Footprint of the Scorecard by using the method highlighted here: Manage and validate your Digital Footprint
The request to remove the asset was Approved and I can see that the Status next to the IP/Domain now says "Removed", however I can see that there is still a Score Impact next to this asset and the asset is not listed under the "Attribution Log" section:
Answer:
The reason why the Findings and Score Impact is still showing up next to an IP/Domain that has been Removed is because even though the asset has been Approved for Removal from the Scorecard, it is in a state where it is "Pending for Removal". This happens because for the asset to completely drop off from the Scorecard, the score needs to be recalculated and published to the Platform. This process can take 2-3 days from the date the Asset is Approved for Removal. This delay in the process cannot be adjusted manually and is automatically decided by our system.
Once the IP/Domain is completely removed from the Digital Footprint, it would no longer be visible under the "Current" section of the Digital Footprint.
